Main Theme

“Closing the Evidence–Action Gap for Resilient Health Systems”

This theme recognizes that generating evidence or knowledge alone is insufficient. It emphasizes the transition from knowledge generation to synthesises, contextualisation, and communication of evidence to inform policy and practice in pursuit of Universal Health Coverage (UHC).

The theme positions the 12th ZHRC 2026 as a platform not only for presenting findings, but for strengthening the architecture that connects research to real-world health system transformation.
