Welcome to the Zambia Health Research Conference (ZHRC) 2026.
It is my great pleasure to welcome you to this platform dedicated to advancing health research, strengthening collaboration, and accelerating the translation of evidence into policy and practice. As we convene under the theme, “Closing the Evidence–Action Gap for Resilient Health Systems,” we reaffirm our commitment to ensuring that research does not remain on paper, but informs real-world decisions that improve health outcomes for all Zambians.
The Zambia Health Research Conference continues to serve as a national forum for researchers, policymakers, practitioners, cooperating partners, and emerging scholars to share knowledge, showcase innovation, and foster partnerships. In a time marked by emerging diseases, health system pressures, and evolving service delivery challenges, the need for resilient, evidence-informed systems has never been greater.
